Faceless Forge Review
Own Your Faceless Channel Machine, Or Just Rent Another Tool?

Hi this is Hai Nguyen and welcome to my Faceless Forge review.
I’ve been monitoring the faceless video space for some time now. And the cold hard fact is that most people who chase it end up renting. They buy credits on someone else's platform . They build on someone else's servers . One morning in the email . Price increases. A fresh cap. Or three lines announcing the closing of the service.
You did the work. You discovered the niche. You determine the style. And it never quite was yours.
So I did Faceless Forge, a system by Andrew Darius that claims the opposite. The main promise is easy. Your own AI agent, on your own computer, writing, building and posting faceless videos and no one can stop it.
Faceless Forge is for creators, marketers, and side-hustle builders who want a content channel but don’t want to be on camera. But there are things on that sales page that you need to hear straight before you buy, and I will get to every one of them.

What is Faceless Forge and How It Works?
Faceless Forge is a training and software package, not a hosted app that you log into. You put an AI agent on your own machine. Faceless Forge is the method, the skill file, and the setup that points that agent at faceless video production.
Here's the basic idea:
You pick the niche, the style, the direction.
You tell the agent about the prompt patterns taught in the training.
The agent researches the topic, writes the hook, and the script.
It creates the voice, visuals, captions and music and then edits the video.
It creates the title, thumbnail and description.
It publishes on your schedule, logs it and starts again tomorrow.
So instead of you being the writer, editor and uploader, the agent does the production and you are the director.
Beneath it is the engine, called Hermes, an open-source A.I. agent from Nous Research. I will state this clearly, because it is important. “Free Hermes. Andrew Darius did not build it, does not sell it, and makes nothing if you download it. You pay for the wrapper. The training. The channel skill. The apps.
I verified this, rather than just taking the page's word for it, and the foundation is real. Hermes launched in February 2026, it’s truly open source under an MIT licence, it’s gotten well over 200,000 GitHub stars, and its parent has been raising at a serious valuation. Also, it launched an official one-click desktop app in June 2026. So the claim of "no terminal, no code" holds up.
Your Setup Experience
Faceless Forge is dependent on that desktop app, which it calls Easy Mode.
Things that I noticed:
The wall preventing non-technical buyers was “no terminal required.”
All local: the agent, the render and your content are on your machine.
No per-video bill. Free rendering.
Selection of the model, so you are not stuck with one vendor's quality or pricing.
Why does this matter? The usual complaint about faceless AI tools is cost and lock-in. Meter is removed in local execution. it doesn’t take all cost out and I will break that down later but the structural benefit is real.”
Faceless Forge Price & Upgrades: What You Get & What You Pay
Faceless Forge is sold as a low upfront price with optional upgrades. But there are three different ways to buy it, and the difference will dictate how much you spend.
Front End: Faceless Forge Core ($27)
The entry point for one channel is the Faceless Forge Core, which costs $27.
What you’ll get:
The agent in Easy Mode, a one-click desktop application for Windows or Mac
Faceless Forge channel skill, 1 channel licensed
A starter kit with free login for the agent brain, free built-in voice, free local rendering.
SkillForge: An App That Writes a New Agent Skill from a Plain English Description
SkillXray : An app scanning any skill for hidden malicious instructions before install
The 7-module training, plus a shorts blueprint with 12 laws and a proven 12 prompt build
A swipe file and quick start runbook
Commercial use rights - so you can build channels for yourself or others
Live build workshop, record yours to save
Note the 1 channel limit. This is not the entire operation, just the start.
Upsell 1: Faceless Skill Vault ($67)
This is quality upgrade. It arms the agent with 200-plus skills to connect to the top AI models for video, images, thumbnails, voice design, voice cloning and music, plus a pick-best routing skill that chooses a model per job by quality, speed and cost. You provide your own API keys and pay those providers directly.
Upsell 2: Unlimited Faceless Empire $97
That’s the scale upgrade and it’s honestly the one that takes the product to something you’d build a business on. It raises the one-channel cap, adds the Faceless Command Center dashboard showing every channel’s queue, next post, status and views on one screen, adds full per-channel autopilot, plus starter credits for optional cloud rendering. Local rendering is always free, and credits are only for speed, not access.
Upsell 3: Faceless Content Gold Rush ($47)
This is not content, this is software. You get 100+ niches, 1,000+ done-for-you ideas, hook and title swipe files, script starters, thumbnail templates, and content calendars. It solves the blank page problem that prevents most people once the agent is running.
Upsell 4: Channel in a Box ($197)
Five pre-built channel packs across formats: concept movie trailers, video essays, chant and ambience, POV comedy, and music-visual. Each has a proven niche, ready branding, tuned agent configuration, starter topics and scripts, imported with one click, and a format blueprint with twelve laws and a failure gallery.
Upsell 5: Faceless Agency (\(297 or White-Label \)497)
This is for the people who want customers. You get a commercial license to run the system for paying customers and you keep all the money you charge, client sub-accounts, and a sales kit with contracts, invoices, and proposals. White-Label offers a re-branding of the dashboard, so you can sell it under your own brand.
Three Ways to Buy, and Why It’s Important
Here’s the part that most reviews skip and it’s worth real money to you.
Option 1: Buy the front end, then individual pick upsells.
You pay $27. Then each upgrade is presented individually and you accept or decline each individually. This is the only way to see the discounted version of each upsell if you say no the first time. And the only way to spend just $27 and stop. But all together here the full stack costs $732, or $932 with White-Label.
Option 2: Buy the Bundle Deal ($297)
The Bundle is a single package deal that bypasses the front end and the entire upsell sequence. One payment and you get the core plus all the upgrades, including the agency license and starter render credits. Same package for $732, if you buy piece by piece.
On this path the customer is then offered an exclusive Mega Bundle upgrade that is only available to Bundle customers. I couldn’t find a public listing of its contents or price, so I won’t take a guess. You will see the details in that step at checkout.
Option 3: Buy front end, then take the Fast-Pass Deal
Fast-Pass is a check box on the front-end checkout page. You buy a $27 item, and the upsell adds $270 to your order. Now you are at $297 and you get everything at once and skip all the upsell pages you would have to go through.
The useful bit is what happens if you change your mind. Cancel Fast Pass and you lose nothing. You go back to option 1 and see each upsell separately, downsells are also included.
So the math is simple. If you want just one channel, pay $27 and stop. If you want more, the $297 routes are the logical choice, since building the same thing up upgrade by upgrade costs more than twice as much. The Fast-Pass is less risky because it is reversible between the two $297 doors and opens up the Mega Bundle offer.
- 🟠 Option 1 — Main Offer Only
- Pay $27, then accept or decline each upgrade separately. Best if you want one channel.
- 🟣 Option 2 — Bundle Deal
- $297 gets everything in one payment and skips the upsell sequence. Costs $732 bought piece by piece.
- 🟢 Option 3 — Fast-Pass
- Add $270 at checkout to unlock everything and skip all upsells. Cancel it and you return to Option 1.

Unseen Forge Features and Benefits
Seven Places in One Build
The system publishes one complete video to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Bluesky.
I like that it doesn't blast the same link all over. Video goes to where video plays. Stills and captions go to feed-based platforms. Links are moved to the first comment or bio instead of the post body where they quietly suppress reach. That's something creators learn the hard way over a year, and it's a real benefit to build that in.
One honest note. They supposedly have seven platforms but the vendor’s own demo feeds show auto-posting to three.
SkillXray: The Solution To A Problem You Probably Didn't Know You Had
This is the feature I least expected to rate highly and it is the one I rate highest.
AI agent skills might have secret instructions that will steal your credentials, or run code you never agreed to. You can’t get that from the file. The dangerous thing is encoded or disguised on purpose. SkillXray scans a skill and returns a verdict of safe, caution or do not install, and what it found.
Most products in this space completely ignore that risk. A scanner is a real, tangible addition, not a bonus in the form of a PDF.
Real Ownership and Local Free Rendering
Running renderings on your own machine is free, which is the most immediately valuable thing in the box if you’ve ever watched credits drain on a hosted tool. And your agent, channels, content and pipeline are on hardware you own, so no vendor can cap you, change the rules or take away the channels. “That’s a real differentiator in an arena that is almost entirely rented access.”
Now the bit the sales page doesn't spell out for you
I don't think Faceless Forge is a scam. The engine is real, the apps work, the pricing is genuinely one-time, and the vendor refuses to make income claims, ships no fake testimonials, and says in his own copy that most channels make little or nothing. This market generally doesn't have that much discipline.
But many of the claims don't stand up to scrutiny.
They picked that claim about being the “number one open-source AI agent” The page itself, by the star count it cites, is NOT first. It is far behind a rival project. Hermes is roughly second, and the 'number one' line is pulled from a more limited usage ranking which gets swapped in to support a broader claim.
All the cool stats are about the free engine, not the paid product. Hermes keeps track of it all, the star counts, the rankings, the token volumes. The disclaimers say that in tiny print, but the page is designed so that the momentum of a free project reads as the credibility of this product.
The downside is that it “runs itself” because on the same pages it tells you that you are the director and reviewer and you approve and tweak. Real use means installing, linking accounts and keys, writing briefs, testing output, fixing failures. It’s not a hands-off machine, it’s heavy automation with a human in the loop.
The biggest asterisk goes to “Zero cost, even on CPU” The free path is based on free login credits and a small managed allowance which the page itself admits may run out. You can go all local for free but you will be sacrificing quality and speed. Expecting frontier level AI video generation to run quickly on a CPU is optimistic. You will be providing your own paid API keys to get output that looks like the demos, and that spend is ongoing.
invent the value stack of $2,470. Every line item is a fake number to make $27 sound like a rescue.
The proof is honestly labeled, but cleverly staged. Screenshots show channels with 8 to 13 million subscribers sitting directly above the vendor’s own channels, which have only a few hundred followers. All disclaimers are correct and in place. The layout still does a bit of persuading that the words disclaim.
But the biggest gap is never spoken of. Posting an AI-generated video every day on multiple platforms is the kind of profile YouTube and others have been throttling with monetization limits and reduced reach. There is not a single page on platform policy. And that is the single biggest risk to any of this working, and you’re left to find that out for yourself.
The Harsh Truth About One Off Price Vs Monthly Services
The “own it, don’t rent it” pitch is the most persuasive thing on the page, and it’s also the part that requires the most qualifying.
Four things are combined into one predictable bill each month. The compute. Access to frontier models. Continuous maintenance as platform APIs and models evolve. And support.
Faceless Forge does not eliminate those costs. It separates them and sends them to you. You provide the hardware, the power, the time. You pay for the models with your own keys, per job, forever. And you take the maintenance risk, because a one-time purchase doesn’t require you to keep working 200-plus model connections as this field moves month to month. You are purchasing a snapshot from mid-2026, not a maintained service.
"Which is better depends on who you are. Unbundling really is cheaper and more durable over time if you’re hands-on, want control, hate lock-in, and accept you’re going to pay for model calls. If you opted for a monthly service because you didn’t want to manage infrastructure, chase updates or support yourself after week one, this isn’t a like-for-like replacement. It is the same job with the labour foisted on you.
Faceless Forge vs. Similar Options
Versus faceless video tools: they're convenient, they offer support and updates, but they also limit you, they meter you, and they can shut down. Faceless Forge offers you permanence and control, in exchange for setup effort and your own model spend.
The real comparison is to using the free agent yourself. All below is open and free. You are paying for the packaging, the method, the channel skill, and the two apps . If you are technical and patient you could build yourself a version. Most buyers won’t.
Advantages and Disadvantages
The Pros
One time price, no forced subscription
Free local rendering, no per video meter
Ownership of agent, channels and content real
Based on a real, widely used open-source agent
Two apps working, one addressing a real security risk
Model agnostic, no vendor lock-in
One build, publish to multiple platforms
Rare here: no income guarantees or fake testimonials
Cons
Marketing blows up what "ownership" and "runs itself" actually mean
The free path is quality-limited. Paying for models means good output
The value stack and number one claim don't stand up to scrutiny
Platform policy risk is never discussed anywhere
The good one is $297, about ten times the headline price
No stack monthly update requirement
Note on User Comments
I want to be honest with you instead of creating social proof. There is no independent buyer feedback on this product yet, and any review claiming otherwise is guessing, as this product will not be released until late July 2026. What can be verified today is the underlying engine, which has strong adoption and an active developer community, and the vendor's twenty plus year track record. If you want real buyer reports, wait a couple of weeks after the launch.
Suggestions for Improved Results
Plan for model costs from day one. The free tier will get you started. Paid keys give you output that people actually look at.
Don't run a firehose. Automate daily volume across all platforms is the fastest way to lose reach.
Run SkillXray on all. It is included, just one click and skill-based attacks are real.
Choose your way before you checkout. If you want more than one channel, get Fast-Pass or the Bundle for $297 and avoid paying $732 later.
Faceless Forge Review – FAQ
Am I meant to be technical?
No. The desktop app removed the terminal requirement and it's verified, not just claimed.
Need a beast of a computer?
Not to operate it. But local generation on CPU only is slow and quality limited. Paid model keys really do make a difference.
So it is really free to run?
Just the local path restricted. Realistic quality = your own API keys + ongoing spend
Can I get around all of the upsells?
Yes. Pay $27, and decline everything. You get one channel and starter grade output.
Am I the owner?
You own the skill, the training, the apps, your content and your accounts . The agent below is open and free for everyone.
Bottom line: Should you buy Faceless Forge?
Having said all of this, I consider Faceless Forge a well-made head start, with marketing that oversells it.
The engine is real and is used extensively . Apps are working. The ownership benefit is structurally sound. One-time pricing and free local rendering eliminate the two costs that kill most faceless operations. And the lack of a promise of income puts this ahead of most that launches in this space.
What I don't like is the page is honest about the earnings but misleading about the effort and cost and ownership, and it leeches off the credibility of a free project to sell a paid wrapper.
I have a simple suggestion.
If you like getting your hands dirty, want control without a subscription, accept that you’ll be paying for model calls, and plan to really oversee what gets published, this is a reasonable buy at $297 via Fast-Pass or the Bundle.
If you have $27 to spend, get the front end, run 1 channel and consider it paid education on if this is for you.
If you're expecting a machine that runs itself and spits out cash, the fine print from the vendor already tells you this is not what it is. Read the subtext, not the headline.
