# Shigai Royalty Review

Hello, I am Hai Nguyen and this is my Shigai Royalty Review.

So, I have been watching the Amazon KDP puzzle space for quite a while. Here’s the hard truth: most low content books die on arrival. You print a word search book and it appears on page 50 next to 10,000 identical covers. You didn't do anything bad. The shelf was full when you arrived.

And that is the problem Shigai Royalty says it can fix. It's a cloud based engine that creates complete whodunit logic puzzle books, and the pitch is that this puzzle type is hard enough to build by hand that almost no one publishes it.

Before writing this I looked over the sales material, the demo, the funnel breakdown and the vendor’s launch history, including the bits the sales page doesn’t put in large type.

## What Is Shigai Royalty and How It Works

Shigai Royalty is a logic mystery puzzle generator that is story-driven and browser-based. The vendors call the format Murdoku style, a mix of murder mystery and sudoku.

Each puzzle is a mansion grid, with a set of suspects, a set of rooms and clues written in the form of true statements. The solver figures out which room each suspect is in, and whoever ends up alone with the body is the murderer. It reads like a mystery, and solves like a logic puzzle.

The workflow is composed of three steps. You pick a difficulty, grid size, cast, and rooms, then click generate and the engine builds the case, clues, hints and solution walk-through. You export with a page designer that handles margins, fonts, KDP trim sizes, legends, with a bulk mode that fills a whole book in one go. And then you publish it – either to Amazon KDP as a paperback, or as an instant download printable on Etsy style marketplaces.

What matters is the engine . Doing these puzzles by hand is really hard, because every clue has to be true, and every board has to lead to exactly one answer. One sloppy clue and the solver hits a dead end, leaves a one star review and the title closes its doors. There is one detail that matters to the scarcity argument later in this review. Another whodunnit style mystery tool for Amazon KDP, KuroNazo, also launched on July 10, 2026 at the same nineteen dollar entry point. That’s five weeks to Shigai Royalty.” So that untouched category the sales page mentions is already crowded with a wave of publishers, some using a tool from the same vendor.

Read that last line again, for it is the most important detail of this review: The sales page says exports are print ready PDF plus unlimited high resolution PNG, no qualifier. The real front end limit is 100 PDF exports per month and PDF is the format needed for an Amazon KDP interior. The next level is where you can buy Unlimited PDF. The cap is nowhere visible to a front-end buyer’s natural gaze and the metered resource is the most important.

100 exports is plenty for a hobby publisher doing a book a month. If you are building a catalog at speed, this is a ceiling you will face.

I honestly read that Pro is not really optional for a serious publisher. The unlimited PDF alone makes it the practical entry price once you publish more than one title a month, and the Lying Killer variant changes the deduction logic, not just the artwork.

This is the core of it, and why the tool exists. Each board is checked to make sure there is only one possible solution using logic alone. The advantage is not speed, it is review protection. I promised an honest review so here it is, the part the promo material leaves out.

That’s exactly the mechanism that saturated word search and sudoku. The niche is tighter than the categories today. It won’t be like that forever, and the tool is the reason for that.

This product does not prove the proof. Each income screenshot & testimonial is labeled as received from past tools members, with results vary disclaimers. That tells you that some buyers of earlier products made some sales. This says nothing about Shigai Royalty. The headline testimonial is a member who reports three books that sell month in, month out, a small and plausible result being presented as proof of a royalty engine.

The value stack is ornamentation. The 1,997 dollar price of the engine toward a total of near 5,114 dollars is an anchor. These numbers are not market.

The easy part takes minutes, not months. The engine can build a verified case in seconds. But the bottleneck on KDP earnings was never the file creation. •       The scarcity argument is undermined by the tool itself and the vendor’s earlier whodunnit launch

## Tips for Better Results with Shigai Royalty

Export a lot in the first 60 to 90 days. The vendors are most attentive just after a launch, so build your library of interiors while the support is responsive and consider long-term access a bonus, not a guarantee.

The business case wrapped around it is bloated. The proof is taken from other products, the value stack is theatre, the scarcity story is dissolved by the product itself, and the limitation of the front end is not disclosed where buyers can see it.

My advice is this:

If you already publish on Amazon KDP or Etsy and have a working listing process, then Shigai Royalty is a reasonable addition at $19, plus Pro at $57 if you publish at any real pace. That’s your smart ceiling until you spend it.

This is not if you are a total beginner expecting the tool to provide the income. It provides files. You still have another problem to solve , that 's demand . "

If you are building a two or three year catalog based entirely on this engine, be careful. That is a long dependency on a small team delivering a low priced launch product.
